Kikatv – Family IPTV in 4K - Something for Every Age

Kikatv DMCA and Copyright Policy

The channel for rights holders to reach us, the details a notice needs to carry, and the timeline you can expect in reply. If you own content and believe it is being used without permission, this page is written for you.

Where we stand

Kikatv takes the rights of content owners seriously. When a valid notice reaches us under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, or an equivalent law in another country, we act on it without delay and take down or disable access to anything it identifies as infringing.

We would rather resolve a concern than argue about it. A clear, complete notice is the fastest route to a result, so the sections below spell out exactly what to send and where to send it.

Reaching our copyright agent

We operate on WhatsApp rather than public email, so send your notice to our designated copyright agent through WhatsApp or the contact page and mark it "DMCA notice" so it reaches the right person quickly. Put everything listed in the next section into that one message so there is nothing for us to chase up.

What a notice must contain

The specific work you own and believe is being infringed, named clearly enough that there is no doubt which one you mean.

The material you are complaining about and where it sits on the service, described in enough detail for us to find it.

A way to reach you back: your full name, postal address, telephone number and an email address.

Your statement that you hold a good-faith belief the disputed use was not permitted by you as the owner, by your agent, or by the law.

A further statement, made under penalty of perjury, that what you have told us is accurate and that you are the rights owner or are authorized to act on that owner's behalf.

Your signature, physical or electronic.

How quickly we reply

A valid notice is acknowledged within 2 business days and acted on within 5. Where a takedown is clear-cut we often move faster than that. If a required detail is missing we send the notice back and tell you plainly what we still need, rather than letting it sit unanswered, so a near-complete notice is rarely lost time.

Disputing a takedown

Believe your material was pulled by mistake, or that it was covered by a license or by fair use? Send a counter-notice to the same place, repeating the identifying details above and adding a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the removal was an error. We pass valid counter-notices back to the party who filed the original claim and restore the material in line with the timescales the law sets out.

Accounts that repeat

In fitting cases, and in keeping with the law, we suspend or close the accounts of subscribers who are the subject of repeat infringement notices. Running one household subscription is no license to redistribute streams, and doing so is already a breach of our terms quite apart from this policy.

Notices sent in bad faith

The law cuts both ways. Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was taken down in error, can be liable for the costs that misrepresentation causes. Please be sure of your ground before you file, whichever side of a notice you are on.
